A mixture of fun!

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday!
Hope all is well?!...

Is it just me, or does it seem it the week just flew on by?!...I swear we just started this week and now, tomorrow's Friday!! What?! lol I really don't mean to be somewhat absent from blogging/commenting...sorry about that! Hopefully, things will get back on track for me. ;)

Anyhow, today I'm sharing a fun and sweet card! I started with using some new Neat and Tangled sets. Then used some new and older Waffle Flower Crafts sets. Then added some new Lawn Fawn patterned paper. Which in the end it just become a whole mixture of things! ;)

I hope my photo doesn't look too 'dark' or anything?!...Nothing but overcast and thunderstorms.  ;)

I started with using the Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee stamp set by N&T. Which I only colored the bunny and then colored one little chick. After I used the matching die with it. Once I had by die cut piece of my bunny/banner, I ended up drawing a line from the top of the banner to the bottom, so this would give my my 'blanket'. After, I used my scissors to trim the rest of the banner off. Once I did that I used a light/pastel aqua to add some color to my blanket.

Next, I used the Lacy Layers die from WFC. Then added my sentiment/'baby' using their Be My Guest stamp set. After, I assembled all my die cut pieces with it. To finish things off, I added my patterned paper and twine. Not too hard, right?...I'd love to hear what you think?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Sweet thanks

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday!
Hope all is well?!...

Can you believe I'm posting a couple days in a row?!  I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I will say ever since I updated my little corner it certainly does call to me. ;)

Anyhoo, I am sharing another coffee card. Though, I don't think anything about it screams 'Spring' so I'm not going to add this in the Spring Coffee Lovers blog hop. No worries though, I have something on Friday to share for that. ;) And just maybe I'll be able to create something before then?...Maybe. ;)

Once again, I'm inking up some stamps that haven't seen ink from day one! To tell you the truth, ever since organizing my stamps I can't believe not only how many I have, but how many I completely forgot about!! Terrible, I tell you! lol And I don't want to speak for anyone else, though I have a feeling I'm not alone on this?! ;) So again, I remind myself I have stamps and I need to stop spending until I ink most of these sets up. (at least for a month or two) ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm off to check out some more coffee inspiration! :)
Enjoy your day!

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday!
Hope all is well?! :)

I'm quickly swinging on in with a coffee card this time! ;) Of course, this will be added to all the other amazing coffee/cocoa/tea cards in the Spring Coffee Lovers blog hop! If you haven't check it out yet, you definitely should!...So much fun and inspiration there!

Anyhow, here's what I came up with.

I was just having some fun in between dt work. I really have been trying to ink up some sets that I have yet to do so. So indeed, that's what I did!
I did make a little more of a 'bold' card, though hopefully it somehow still has some 'Spring' in it?! lol ;) Either way, I have no was fun to make! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Happy Easter!

Hello, hello!
Yep. I'm quickly back with one more card to share, today! :)

I'm not sure if you seen or heard about it?...But it's National Craft Month and Nicole from Right At Home is having a National Craft Month Celebration blog hop!  And there's still some time to hop along and join in on the fun, too! ;)

Playing with another fun new set. I finally inked up the new Lawn Fawn Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set, along with their Flirty Frames stamp set.

I just thought that set was too darn cute! Seriously, who doesn't love some chicks and little accessories to go with them?!...and isn't Easter coming up really soon?! (lol) ;)

I did some coloring and added some accessories to go with, though I still think I have a pretty clean and simple card, yeah.?. ;)

Thanks again for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

From all of us...

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is off to a great start?! :)

Today is the first day of my kids' spring break, so needless to say, things will be a little crazy here. lol...Though I did find some crafty time, which is good. ;)

The Spring Coffee Lovers blog hop is in full swing and perhaps you'd think I'd be sharing another coffee card...Shockingly, I'm not. (at least for today) ;) I recently bought the new Concord & 9th Birdie Banners stamp set and couldn't wait to ink it up! So without further ado...

I kept things pretty simple. Just did some masking with my little birds. And then to add some fun, for my little party hats, I turned one of the banner flags upside down. After, I took a black pen and added some lines. Simple and cute, yeah?...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great week!

Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop, Guest!

Hey y'all! Happy Saturday! :)

Today I am so excited to be guesting at the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!! Yay! Thank you sooo much for having me, Amy! :)

So here's what I came up with.

I'm happy to say, I now have a good variety of coffee themed stamps verses having only one set for the longest time!...I still love my first set but so many choices now! lol ;)

Anyhow, I kept things nice and CAS for card. I used Concord & 9th's Let's Chat and Lots of Blots stamp sets, along with Bags & Tags die set (for my little heart).

I'd love it, if you'd swing on over to the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog and leave some love there! :) And while you're there, I hope you join in on the fun!

Hope to see you there!
Enjoy your weekend and Happy Crafting!

Thinking about you...

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday!
Hope all is well?!... :)

Today I'm sharing a card that I made last week! I had the picture sitting in my camera, though had yet to edit it. You ever just have photos sitting in your camera?...I'm terrible about that. lol I'll take all these photos but then (and I'll call it what is is...) I get Seriously, editing can be so time consuming at times! ;)

Anyhow, it's another just for fun card. I decided to pull out some CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and put them to use! :)

I randomly stamped on my flowers and leaves, then did some simple coloring. After I added my sentiment. Quick and easy, yeah?!...

And let me say, I don't use black cardstock much, but I had the hardest time editing my photo to where my black didn't look 'washed out'. I'm not sure if there's a trick to photographing black cardstock or not?...perhaps, it may be one of those things like when you try to get the 'shimmer/glitter' to show up?...Just tricky to do. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is off to a great start!?! :)

Not sure if it's just me or not, but that whole 'springing forward' certainly made me not wanna get out of bed this morning! lol However if 'time' just stays this way for good, I'd be happy with that!...I can do without the whole 'fall back'. ;)

Anyhoo, I'm swinging in with yet another 'just for fun' card! I'm ahead on some of my DT stuff, so in between I've been just taking it easy and just freely creating. Sometimes it's nice just to create, yeah?...

So here's my card.

I mixed some old with the new, using Waffle Flower Crafts 'Welcome Spring' and 'Be My Guest' sets. Somehow this became a baby card! lol I didn't really have a solid plan, just somewhat knew what I wanted to use. ;) Though, I think it works?!...

Have a great week!

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday, almost Friday!! :)
Hope all is well?!...

Once again, I'm swing in with a 'just for fun' card!...But then, I remembered!...Darnell's NBUS Challenge is still going on! I actually made it in time! lol ;)
I have all these new ('new to me' stamp sets) that I have yet to use. So, I'm trying to be good and not buy anything else until I ink up some of these sets! ;) The keyword in that sentence was y'all seen the new releases that are out there?!!...Seriously, I think I'm gonna go broke this month! lol

So here's my card.

Yep. Nice and simple.
I did some easy coloring, added a few sequins after and called it good. :)
What do you think?!...

Happy Birthday

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday!
Hope all is well?!...

Once again, I'm feeling waaay better and more of myself today then any other day...yay! lol :) Thanks again for all the well wishes!

So today I'm swinging on in to share another 'just for fun' card! Yesterday, I sat down at my desk and just was starring at everything. Not doing anything, just starring. lol Then I started to think to myself, I'm doomed!... Here I have this awesome area to work at and I don't even want to touch anything! lol

After 'who knows how long' (lol) I finally pulled out some stamps. Which led to this...

Honestly, I didn't know where this card would take me. Let alone, if I would even get a card from the stamps that I pulled out. I just went with the flow and took it easy. Before I knew it, it was all coming together! ;)

I did some coloring, which hopefully my coloring skills are getting better and not worse?! lol (I'm not the best at it but I do enjoy doing it! ;)) I also did a little die cutting and added quite a few sequins to the mix! ;) So what do you think?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

March Waffle Flower Challenge

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...

Today I'm swinging on in to share my card for the current Waffle Flower Challenge! Also, this is my last post for the challenge DT!...Time just went way too quick! ;) Thank you sooo much, Nina and Tessa for having me again!! I truly loved every bit of it! Thank you! <3

Fun stuff, right?!...Here's my card!

You know me and this whole watercolor technique don't always get along. lol So yeah, it took my a few trails and errors to figure things out. ;) I was going to go with a watercolor background, though it just wasn't working this time around for me. Which then led me to pulling out some distress markers and embossing powder. I still wasn't quite sure if my idea was gonna work or not?...When's the last time you saw me use distress markers, along with some heat embossing?! lol

Well, after a few 'tests' to try things out, wouldn't you know it was working for me! :) So, I did a little masking with my flowers and then heat embossed them in white. After, I used my distress markers with a wet paintbrush to add my colors. Simple, yeah?!...And I think it gave everything a nice soft touch?...To finish things off, I added my sentiment and a little butterfly.

Be sure to swing on over to the Waffle Flower Challenge to see all the DT creations! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us?!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Imagine...before and after

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday!
Hope all is well and you're enjoying your weekend! :)

I'm still on the path of feeling better...the one day I felt 10x better, then came the next day and felt darn right awful. Yesterday, was somewhat the same way. Now today, I'm starting to feel better again. All this up and down is driving me crazy! ugh.

Anyhow, as many as of you know, I recently did a 'corner makeover' of my crafty space. Well, today I will share my pretty much finished outcome!...And I say 'pretty much finished' because are we ever really done making over our crafty space?!...Now, I won't be doing much more to my space for awhile. I don't know about you, but it is some hard and exhausting work! ;)

*Please note: This is somewhat of a long post! I'd love for you to stay with me and read everything, just so you can imagine and know how BIG of a makeover this is for me. Though, I understand if you go straight to the pics. ;)

Okay. So knowing me and how I am, I didn't even think of taking before pictures! I was just excited to finally have a big upgrade, so I didn't hesitate to start disassembling things! lol I'm gonna give y'all a good description of 'before'...

10 years, almost 11 years ago...
Starting out on one side of the wall in your bedroom. Having boxes full of stuff and trying to figure out what you really have, don't have. What you have room for and not. Cutting paper on the floor and folding cardstock on top of a hard book or something other. Then you move to a slightly bigger place and think, oooh I'll have a bigger space. Which that bigger space is a walk in closet. Not huge but bigger than before. With somewhat the same set up of having boxes full of stuff, but able to buy a little more because of the extra room. And going from the floor to a tv tray to cut and fold things on, etc. Then, you move again. To about the same size place, but no walk in closets. Therefore, you put your dresser inside the closet and work on top of that. Which you store your stuff above the dresser on one big long shelf. No light in the closet, so you use what you can from the bedroom light. Then after 3-4 years, you move. again. Though, this time to a house. Which becomes your home. It's way bigger with more room but the storage isn't the best. To start, you use an old tv stand/entertainment center on one wall in your bedroom. With the tv stand you have some storage cubbies/openings, which gives you some actual 'spots' to put certain things. But you still have stuff in your closet and under the bed. You still need more room. Then you 'make do' with things you already have and add a 'homemade' hutch (which is really only 2 shelf's) on top of the tv stand against the wall. It gives you some more storage to add a few more things on. Still not enough room but you work with what you can. Then about a year or so down the road, you add a couple more shelf's on 'L brackets' next to the tv stand. Giving you some more space to add a little more things to. It's starting to look like a real work area, but still not enough room, no chair (just the one you pull from the dining room table) and it's beginning to be an eyesore. With everything stacked upon stacked, nothing concealed, and this still is suppose to be your bedroom. Then, you do some rearranging around the house and want the tv stand/entertainment center back out in the living room. In return you pull a simple three little drawer desk from the living room into your room. Clearly not enough space, but you go with it and make it work. After a month or two, you finally break down and say I'm doing something for myself. That's when you buy an actual desk to house pretty much every.single.thing. and buy storage containers rather than boxes, buy clear sleeves to organize your stamps, and buy storage containers to store your markers in and a chair, an actual desk go all out because your just fed up and tired of things just not doing the job, tired of the eyesore, tired of everything. It's all or nothing.

And this is what you get in return...

A nice, organized, clean work 'corner' in your bedroom.

I put this desk all together by myself! And I now see why people get paid good money to put together drawers! lol (What a time consuming and pain they are!)  ;)

Inside the drawers and under the desk.

Stamp storage.

On top of the desk and side unit.

Washi tape storage/top of desk.

Markers/ink storage.

Overall work space.

Whew! Sure hope you stayed with me and enjoyed?!!... :)
Over time there may be a few other storage things that I'll do, but for now, I'm done.

In the end, I couldn't be more happier with my new and improved space! And I still have a wonderful bedroom to sleep in. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

And if you have any great storage tips, I'd love to hear them?!! :)

Enjoy your day!

The best is yet to come

Hey y'all!! Happy Friday!

I'm back today with another card to share! :)

When I was doing some commenting and browsing around blogland, yesterday. I came across the current The Card Concept challenge. It's been awhile since I've played along, let alone with any challenge, so I thought I'd give a go.

Going with a clean and simple card...check it out!

I don't really have much of clover stamps or anything really for St. Patrick's day. Therefore, I had to some thinking outside of the box. ;) I pulled out some CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and thought the 'single Lovely link' looked close enough to a clover to me. After, I did some simple coloring and added a stem to my clover. Once done, I decided to use the Wonky Stitched die with it and then added a single gold sequin. Simple, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your Friday and weekend!

TREEmendous thanks

Hey y'all!
Happy Friday! Hope all is well?!!...

Today, I'm up on A Jillian Vance Design blog! Here's a peek at my card.

I'd love it, if you'd swing on over to A Jillian Vance Design blog and leave some love there! :) Thanks so much!

Enjoy your day!

Wanted to share...

Hey y'all! Hope all is well?!

*note: for my Little Tangles post, please scroll down.*

I wanted to fill y'all in some...
(Which some of you may already have seen or heard.)

On last Tuesday I ended up going to the ER. A couple days prior to going to the ER, I was feeling lightheaded, my heart would beat rapidly when I did almost anything, and then I would feel fatigue/somewhat like I was going to pass out. Usually, I just would sit or lay down with my feet up and things would start to settle down some. Well, came Tuesday after walking my kids to school (which I do everyday and have no problem) on my walk back home I was so out of breath, I wasn't even sure if I was gonna make it home. I was little scared at that point. When I did get home, I sat for a bit and then thought I needed to eat. I ate and then thought, okay I'll have some coffee now. After about two sips of coffee, my heart starting beating fast again and then came feeling even more lightheaded. So I stopped drinking coffee and called a friend to drop me off at the ER.

My worst fear was that I over hydrated myself and my sodium levels were way too low. Can you over hydrated yourself?...Yes. Yes you can. It takes a lot to do so, though once I figured out how much water and other fluids I was drinking, I was scared. I started drinking out of these darn cups, not paying attention to how many ounces that they were. After looking and adding up the math, I was drinking anywhere from a half gallon (minimum) to a gallon or so a day!! Waaay too much! And when you have too much water, it dilutes your electrolytes causing things to be off balance. Which can be very serious and even fatal (yes, fatal). So, I was freaking out, especially with all the symptoms I had going on. My only other fear was that I was having an heart attack or stroke. Bottom line, I knew I wasn't myself and things were just not right.

Once getting to the ER and getting into a room, they asked me some questions and then started doing tests and blood work right away. The doctor checked over me, said my eyes looks good and that my thyroid was good. Then it became a waiting game because we needed to see what came back with my blood work. Thankfully, the wait wasn't terribly long. When the doctor came back in, I couldn't have been more relieved and happy to hear that all my levels were perfect. Whew. He told me I was spot on for where you want to be with your sodium, potassium, etc. Now, as relieved and happy as I was, because believe me I was. I still had the question of 'then what is causing all of this'?...Well, come to find out I was dealing with a viral infection. All those symptoms, a viral infection?!...I haven't ever had anything where I felt this way but supposedly, it's not uncommon. Well, guess that's good to know. lol

In the end, things could have been way worse. So I'm happy to know all it was, was a viral infection. I also was told to slow down on my fluids because it was a little extreme on how much I was drinking and if I kept doing so, then yes, I could have some problems down the road. I also have to follow up in the next week or two with the doctor to be sure that indeed my levels are stable and have not fallen any. Needless to say, I'm not drinking much from those cups and I'm really counting how much I take in.

Today, I already feel 10x better than the previous days!...I'm still not 100% but I'm moving around good and not feeling lightheaded! :)

Also, I'm am beyond thankful for all the well wishes!! Each and every one truly means so much to me! Thank you <3

I'll be back tomorrow with a post (maybe even two!) and I have a few cards to photograph/edit. So I should be back to posting a little more! :)

Enjoy your day...It's almost Friday!!

Little Tangles-Ombre

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...

Today we have a brand new challenge at Little Tangles! And another fun one it is...we're all about Ombre this time around! :)

Check it out.

I started with my background. Which I used Neat & Tangled's On the Edge stamp set. I choose three different shades of grey inks for my 'ombre'. And for a little bit of fun, I also added one hot pink stripe. ;) I then used Neat & Tangled's Birthday Tags die with white cardstock and then added a piece of black cardstock under it. Once done, I added some twine with a mini staple and adhered it to my card. Simple and fun, yeah?!...

Be sure to swing on over to Little Tangles and check out all the design team projects!! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us?!! :)

Hope to see you there! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!
